Virginia is a percussionist and educator based in Gainesville, Florida. During her time at the University of Florida, she has participated in the UF Wind Symphony, Symphony Orchestra, Symphonic Band, and Brass Band. She has also participated in the UF Percussion Ensemble and traveled to the Percussive Arts Society International Convention with them for three years. At UF, she studied with Dr. Kenneth Broadway, Dr. Danielle Moreau, and Professor Clyde Connor, covering a wide range of instruments and styles.

Virginia has a passion for orchestral and operatic performance and spent a summer in Salzburg studying German and Austrian influences on orchestral percussion, specifically the snare drum. She also has worked extensively in chamber music, and participated in the 2025 Sandbox Percussion Summer Seminar, working with and performing alongside the members of Sandbox Percussion and Andy Akiho on a recent work by Akiho titled Portal.

As a former student of Gainesville High School, Virginia has worked as the main percussion instructor at GHS since 2023. Her responsibilities include training the battery and the front ensemble during the marching season, holding auditions, leading band camps, assisting with the percussionists in concert and symphonic band, leading/assisting with percussion ensembles, and teaching private lessons.
